I immersed myself not just in academics but also in speech, drama, and athletics, honing a diverse set of skills that allowed me to connect with a wide range of people and experiences.

From a small Jamaican village to global stages
Now, I am on a mission to lead the Caribbean into a vibrant and inclusive digital future. Leveraging my background as a geospatial scientist and a savvy entrepreneur, I founded GeoTechVision in 2008 to bring innovative geospatial and business ICT solutions to the forefront. It's more than a company; it's a vision realized, with offices reaching from Kingston and Georgetown to Guyana and South Florida.
My ambitions reach beyond the corporate sphere. I’m committed to lifting up underserved communities, nurturing education, and fostering engagement. Through initiatives like “Flying Labs,” I inspire children to take to the skies with drone technology and empower young girls to take an active role in understanding and shaping their environment. I envision a future where more voices, especially those of Caribbean women, join and lead crucial geospatial conversations.
Family is my cornerstone, grounding me with strong moral values and an unwavering spirit to assist others. My family continues to be a pillar of strength, inspiring me to not just forge ahead, but to do so with a heart full of kindness and understanding.

Her odyssey has covered a remarkable range of this eclectic area, where she has delved into the rich mosaic of cultures, from Cuba's colorful streets to the Dutch Caribbean and tranquility of Grenada. Each locale has offered its unique blend of natural beauty, from lush tropical forests to azure waters and white-sand beaches, alongside a tapestry of cultural festivities, culinary delights, and historical richness.
… To the historic streets of European nations like the UK, France, and Germany, she has immersed herself in a multitude of experiences. Her journey has continued to the bustling cities of Asia, such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, and the rich cultural heritage of countries like India and China. Valrie's travels have been marked by a deep curiosity, leading her to countries across North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Through her adventures, she has embraced the global community, appreciating the beauty of each destination and the connections she's made along the way.

- 2015: My commitment to excellence was further recognized with the JCC Best of Chamber, Small Category award, and the Commonwealth Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
- 2016: I ended a spectacular series of recognitions with the Georgetown Chamber Commerce & Industry (GCCI) Young Business Executive Award.
